Both days will be held on the Aston University Campus, Vision Sciences building in central Birmingham. Stations will take place across the campus.
Who is it for?
Our skills days are suitable for ophthalmology trainees, optometrists, orthoptists, nurses and GPwERs. They are designed to give an overview and taste of various different skills within ophthalmology, before a candidate embarks on formal workplace training.
Please note: Undertaking the course does not give competence, or autonomy of practice. To perform each of the skills in practice, you must have completed practical training within your workplace and achieved formal sign-off by an appropriately qualified clinician and trainer.
Conference/ Event Dates (Taking place):
Both days are full day courses, starting at 8.30 with a 5pm finish.
Day 1: 8th November 2024
Day 2: 9th November 2024 The fee for each day is £450. If you opt to attend both days, there is a £50 discount, bringing the total cost to £850.
